In March, I was invited to write a review for Periskop of the National Museum – Architecture’s exhibition BOOM!. I was therefore interested to discover that my article had been selected as a case study at the National Museum’s Public Engagement Conference, in a session called The Fifth Space.
The session was framed around criticism and exhibition writing as forms of mediation — spaces where knowledge can circulate, be challenged and shared with wider publics.

A large part of my practice involves researching the pigments from which I make my paint. I am currently working with the ancient pigments, gaining a deeper understanding of them from both a scientific and historical aspect, and how these relate to the female psyche. My thirst to absorb more knowledge has taken me on a ‘self-led pigment safari’, exploring the wild landscape and ochres of the Luberon region in the South of France (June 2024)
