'KAT walk': A new way to see and understand place
10 30 - 14 00
I invite you on an exploration of the UNESCO World Heritage town of Rjukan where I will combine my knowledge of architecture and understanding of place with my love of art.
We begin our journey at the studios (or at an agreed place in town), where I share my personal approach to seeing and understanding place as both an artist and architect.
As we start to explore the town together, we will be Interacting with both the solidity and fragility of the monumental architecture and the surrounding nature. Using movement, light, shadow, form, colour, texture as our drawing materials, I will guide us in ways of how we can use art to explore the changes the town is continuously undergoing.
During our walk I also share a little of the history of the individual buildings and Rjukan.
Those who have one please bring a camera / phone camera.
Duration: 3 - 3.5 hours. Adults and children from 12 yrs. Booking via AirBNB experiences (a booking link will be available shortly). In the meantime please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any queries.
